If a player is doing well, you can make the game more challenging by making the finish line shorter. This screencast will introduce how to do this, but the code will be up to you to finish. Click on the finish line and the looks menu.

In looks, there are two blocks that you’ll need to complete this task. Drag out a "change size by 10” block and a “set size to 100%” block.

The “set size to 100%” block will reset the finish line’s size when a new game is started, so you can drag this onto the beginning of the block stack.

The “change size by 10” block will allow you to resize the finish line. Right now, if you click this block the finish line gets larger, but if you put a negative number in this block, the finish line should get smaller.

Great! How do you program this to say: That’s up to you to figure out. Remember, if you have a question, you can ask a neighbor to help you work it out or put up a sticky to get the attention of your CS First Guru.
