arrow_back Welcome to My Project
In this add-on, you will program a sprite to greet the user and to tell them about your project.
To get started, click the "choose sprite from library" icon, select the sprite you want to introduce your project, then click OK. This example uses Khalid.
Next, add a "say" block. To greet the user with their username, use a "join" block. First, drag a "join" block from into the "say" block. Next, enter a greeting in the first value spot on the “join” block, and leave a space after it. This example uses "Hey." Next, choose a "username" block from the sensing menu, and place it in the second value space.
Now, click the code to test it. If your greeting and the username run together, add a space after the greeting.
Next, add more "say" blocks to make the sprite say more information about your project. What would you like people to know about your project? You can make the sprite say whatever you want.
Finally, add a "when flag clicked" event to the top of the code stack.
Now, it's your turn: Add a sprite.
Code this new sprite to greet the user and tell the user about your project when the flag is clicked.
