Today, you created an android story using functions.

Computer scientists reuse functions to simplify their code and save time.

The games you may like to play on your phone, game console, or computer, were created using functions.

It takes a lot of code, and time, to create a game!

To save time, game designers create functions for the actions and effects that are used multiple times.

Computer scientists have major roles in creating all kinds of video games.

It’s an exciting time in game development because there are so many exciting gaming platforms available, such as the Kinect, mobile devices, consoles, and PCs.

You may have created a game in Scratch, but there are also many other ways to create games with computer science.

Next session, you will create a parallax animation that uses functions with number parameters.

While you’re waiting for your clubmates to finish the wrap-up, take a moment to write a shout-out!

Keep on animating, and see you next time!
